Sectoral Session on Energy will be among hightlights of ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Divas 2025'

Jaipur, Dec 4 (UNI) As Rajasthan readies for the upcoming ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Divas’ 2025 on December 10, one of the most anticipated highlights will be a sectoral session on energy, themed “Policy to Practice : The Evolving Role of BESS in RE Integration”.
The sectoral session aims to explore the transformative role of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Renewable Energy.
With Rajasthan, emerging as a renewable energy leader, this session comes at a pivotal moment when policy, technology and industry must converge to accelerate India’s clean energy transition.
The sectoral session will feature exceptional speakers from diverse facets of the energy ecosystem.
From the renewable energy development and innovation sector, Sumant Sinha, Chairman, ReNew Power Ltd; Akshay Hiranandani, CEO, Serentica Renewables and Suman Kumar, CEO, Brookfield Renewables, who have been instrumental in scaling renewable energy projects and integrating advanced technologies, will be participating.
Adding the depth to the conversation, the session will also feature senior officials from India’s core energy regulatory and government bodies including Pradip Kumar Das, CMD, IREDA; R.K. Tyagi, CMD, PGCIL and Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairman, Central Electricity Authority (CEA), India.
